TULSA, Oklahoma -- Former First Lady Laura Bush was in Tulsa Tuesday night praising Oklahoma's efforts to get kids immunized.
Bush and Governor Mary Fallin checked out one of four Caring Vans that cross the state bringing vaccinations to underserved communities.
The state plans to add a fifth Caring Van to the fleet soon.
"They've made a huge difference already for your state in the number of immunizations in children. They're up! And they've got a good record of that, and they'll get even better," Bush said.
Later, Mrs. Bush was the keynote speaker at the Champions of Health Gala at the Convention Center. Six in the Morning's LeAnne Taylor emceed the event.
