TULSA, Oklahoma -- Arson investigators are looking into a fire at a north Tulsa residence. Fire crews were called to the 2600 block of N. Garrison at about 1:30 a.m. Saturday for the structure fire.
Tulsa Fire Department Captain Keith Beck said crews were able to knock down the blaze pretty quickly.
"The first crew arrived on scene to find heavy smoke and fire showing from a detached garage with a living area in it," Beck said.
They conducted a search of the garage apartment and did not find anyone present. A man lives in the property's detached garage, but he was not home at the time of the fire.
The cause of the fire had not yet been determined.
Beck said the vacant house showed signs of previous fire damage.
