TULSA, Oklahoma -- Tulsa firefighters were called to the scene of a house fire in the 9700 block of East 3rd Street just before 2 a.m. Saturday.
Investigators had not determined the cause of the blaze which started outside on the back wall of the house and worked its way into the attic. Crews were able to quickly knock down the fire before it damaged the home's interior.
One of the residents was treated for smoke inhalation. The other occupants, including the family dog, made it out safely.
The Tulsa Area Red Cross is providing assistance to the family for lodging, food and clothing as needed, according to spokes person Donita Quesnel.
