Spirit Stick Week 1: Union Redskins

TULSA, Oklahoma – The Union Redskins are the first recipient of the 2011 News On 6 Spirit Stick.

The Redskins, who have won three consecutive state championships, kick off the season Friday against Evangel Christian Academy at 7 p.m.

Friday morning Dave Davis awarded the spirited Union bunch with the Spirit Stick for the week.

Union's drum line, cheer and pom squads, high steppers and even the TP Crew and Scottish Skins were all present to show off the Redskins pride and accept the award.
