TULSA, Oklahoma – Different teams obviously have different goals entering each season, some a little loftier than others.
Tulsa Union's goal of winning a fourth-straight state championship could definitely be placed in the "lofty" category.
But with the winning tradition the Redskins have established over the years, coach Kirk Fridrich expects nothing less than competing for a state title every year.
Fridrich said this year's squad is not going to be carried by an individual, high-caliber player, but rather a team strong at every position.
News On 6 attended a recent Tulsa Union practice to get a feel for how the team is performing heading into its season opener.
The Redskins open the season at home on Sept. 2 against Evangel (La.).
