Driver Cited Following Car-Train Crash In Sand Springs

No one was hurt when a car was struck by a train at a railroad crossing in Sand Springs Thursday afternoon.

SAND SPRINGS, Oklahoma -- No one was hurt when a car struck a train at a railroad crossing in Sand Springs Thursday afternoon.

Sand Springs Police and Fire responded to the crash in the 8100 block of West Charles Page Boulevard.

Police say the crossing just has a stop sign.

The car, which was southbound, struck the eastbound train and received only minor damage.

Police said the driver will be cited for failure to stop.
