TULSA, Okla. – Neither team put up its normal huge scoring output on Friday, but that was just fine with Edmond Memorial.

The Bulldogs took a low-scoring 42-34 affair from rival Edmond Santa Fe in the semifinals to earn a trip to the state championship game.

Guard Jordan Woodard score 17 points to lead the Bulldogs, but suffered what appeared to be an ankle injury with less than a minute to play in the game.

Woodard limped slowly off the court to the bench and his status for the title game has not yet been announced.

Because of coincidental playoff pairings, the two teams played four times this season.

Santa Fe handed Memorial its only loss of the season (the Bulldogs are 26-1) but Memorial took three of four from the Wolves.

Edmond Memorial will take on Midwest City at 7:45 p.m. on Saturday at the Mabee Center for a state title.
