Bethany Crushes Little Axe in District Play

BETHANY, Oklahoma – Bethany outscored Little Axe 32-10 in the opening quarter and cruised to an 89-43 victory Friday in Class 4A district play.

A three-pointer by Brandon Goodman with 5:50 left in the first quarter pulled Little Axe to within one point of the lead at 7-6. Bethany responded with a huge run to end the quarter, outscoring the Indians 25-4. The Bronchos lead was never in doubt after their high-scoring first quarter.

Bethany’s Jake Hopkins led everyone in the scoring department finishing with 31 points.
