TULSA, Oklahoma -- Booker T. Washington defensive end Derrick Alexander officially switched his commitment from Louisiana-Lafayette to the University of Tulsa Sunday.

The 6-foot 3-inch, 263-pound defensive end played a big part in the Hornets’ run for the 2010 Gold Ball, accounting for 151 tackles and 14 sacks.
