EDMOND, Okla. – Putnam City North used an early scoring run to pull away from Oklahoma Christian Schools and take a 54-38 victory in the first round of tournament play Friday.
The Panthers defense was relentless in the first quarter, allowing P.C. North to lead 15-0 after the quarter.
OCS did not get its first bucket of the game until the five-minute mark of the second quarter.
The Saints increased their scoring production as the game went on but never got closer than 16 points after the initial run by the Panthers.
