Lincoln Christian Bulldogs Outlast Adair Warriors
The Bolldogs came out on top of the rematch of last season's state title game.

TULSA, Oklahoma -- In a repeat of the 2009 Gold Ball Game, the Lincoln Christian Bulldogs topped the Adair Warriors 43-27 in the opening round of the Class 2A Playoffs.
The Bulldogs rode the big night of running back Matt Simms to the second-round of the playoffs. Simms carried the ball 33 times and amassed 256 yards and four touchdowns in the win.
Lincoln Christian will host the Hartshorne Miners Nov. 19. The Miners are coming off of a 28-21 win over the Holdenville Wolverines Friday.
The Warriors finish the season 8-3 and can build off of a third-place finish in district next season.
