Seven Squads Participate in Mustang Showdown

MUSTANG, Oklahoma -- Seven varsity squads participated in the Mustang Showdown at Mustang High School Thursday, a last tune-up before starting the regular season in the first week of September.

In the first game, the Altus Bulldogs took on the Norman North Tigers; the Bishop McGuinness Irish topped Lawton Eisenhower; Mustang fell to the Lawton MacArthur without star David Glidden; and El Reno also took on Mustang.

The Oklahoma High School football season officially kicks off September 2.
