Tre'Vante Porter and Markell Walker Sign

MIDWEST CITY, Oklahoma -- After a dramatic recruiting period, Carl Albert’s Tre’Vante Porter signed with Texas Tech Wednesday.

Porter decommitted from Texas Tech after Mike Leach was fired, but after taking visits to both Arizona and Texas Tech, the defensive back decided on the Red Raiders.

His teammate defensive back Markell Walker is one of several Oklahoma high school players that will move on to play at East Central.
