Lady Pirates Hang on Against Putnam City West

OKLAHOMA CITY, Oklahoma -- A quick start helped the Putnam City Girl’s team defeat Putnam City West, 61-57. The Lady Pirates led 18-2 after the first quarter at Putnam City West High School.

The Lady Patriots rallied back and eventually took the lead in the third quarter, but the Lady Pirates fought back to take the lead in the fourth quarter. Porsche Young paced the Lady Pirates with 18 points, while Putnam City West’s Danielle Bounds led all scorers with 28 points.
