WAGONER, Oklahoma – The Wagoner Bulldogs were in control throughout a 37-14 win against Fort Gibson on Friday evening.
The Bulldogs were holding on to a 19-7 lead in the third quarter when the Tigers picked up a 48-yard touchdown from quarterback Andrew Arnold to Aaron Miller.
Fort Gibson then recovered the ensuing kick-off at Wagoner’s 26-yard line, but the Bulldogs recovered a fumble that set up a fourth down score from Taylor Bosco to tight end Drew Curley. The 16-yard touchdown gave the Bulldogs a 25-14 lead.
Wagoner plays at Poteau next week, while the Tigers host Sallisaw.
