TULSA, Oklahoma -- A Green Country television icon is saying goodbye to Tulsa.

Carole Lambert is leaving after nearly three decades at KTUL.

The Emmy-award winning broadcaster is perhaps best known as the driving force behind "Waiting Child," a program which helps find adoptive homes for children.

Lambert is moving back to her hometown of Springfield, Missouri to pursue new opportunities.

The move also puts her closer to her two sisters and other family.

We wish her well in her new adventures.
