Sooners Preview NCAA Tournament

Coach Sherri Coale and Oklahoma talked about their opening round opponent and the upcoming tournament.

NORMAN, Okla. -- Even though it's still nearly a week until the Sooners open NCAA play, that didn't keep them from hitting the practice court hard on Tuesday.

Coach Sherri Coale said her team isn't even breaking out the scouting report on their upcoming opponent, James Madison, for the next couple of days.

Instead, they went back to basics, working on rebounding drills and fundamentals.

OU received a No. 6 seed in the Women's NCAA Tournament and will take on the No. 11 seed Dukes on Sunday to open tournament play.

Tipoff is set for 2:30 p.m. at John Paul Jones Arena in Charlottesville, Virginia.
