Jonathan Nelson to Play in East-West Shrine Game

NORMAN, Oklahoma -- Oklahoma’s Jonathan Nelson accepted an invitation to play in the 86th East-West Shrine Game, the university announced Wednesday.

The senior safety finished the 2010 season with 102 tackles, ranking him second on the team and notching the fifth-highest single-season mark by an OU defensive back.

The game will be held at 3 p.m. Jan. 22 at the Florida Citrus Bowl in Orlando, Fla.
