STILLWATER, Oklahoma -- Oklahoma State receiver Justin Blackmon will speak to the media Wednesday at 6 p.m. to address his recent arrest for driving under the influence.
Blackmon was pulled over early Tuesday morning in Carrollton, Texas for going 92 in a 60 mph zone. After the officer smelled alcohol on his breath, he put Blackmon through field sobriety tests and took Blackmon into custody.
Texas law states that any driver under the age 21 that has any detectable amount of alcohol in their system can be arrested for DUI.
The sophomore wide receiver leads the nation in receiving yards per game with 158.9 and – barring a suspension – is on pace to set all of OSU’s single-season receiving records.
