According to several reports, the University of Oklahoma and Oklahoma State University each grabbed a verbal commitment from Texas-natives.
The Sooners added to their stacked backfield by gaining a commitment from Brookshire, Texas running back Brandon Williams, who had previously committed to Baylor. ESPN reported the commitment Monday morning. Williams, OU's eighth verbal commit, rushed for 1,815 yards and 14 touchdowns.
Oklahoma State was also busy. After visiting during OSU's spring game Saturday, the Cowboys got a verbal commitment from cornerback Miketavious Jonesaccording to Rivals.com. Baylor, Houston, Kansas and Rice were all potential landing spots.
