TULSA, Oklahoma -- The Tulsa Shock traded forward Crystal Kelly to the San Antonio Silver Stars for guard Shanna Crossley.
Crossley, a 5-10 University of Tennessee graduate, averaged five points a game last season. She shot just over 40 percent from the three-point range, including shooting 50 percent from behind the arc in the Silver Stars three playoff games last year.
Crossley will pair up with Alexis Hornbuckle to create an outside shooting threat for the Shock. She was ranked fifth in the WNBA last season in her perimeter shooting.
The Shock picked up Amanda Thompson and Vivian Frieson in the 2010 WNBA Draft and will tip off their season May 15 against Minnesota.
