TULSA, Oklahoma -- Oral Roberts pitcher Bryce Smolen was named Pitcher of the Week Monday, following a big shutout against Oakland. The junior threw a complete game against the Golden Grizzlies, earning the Golden Eagles a 10-0 win.
He threw 9.0 innings, striking out 10 batters and walking one. He allowed five singles in his first career shutout.
The Golden Eagles host the University of Arkansas Little Rock April 13 at 7 p.m.
