IRVING, Texas -- Two Golden Hurricane players have received Conference USA honors. Steven Idlet earned a share of the C-USA Sixth Man of the Year and while Jerome Jordan was named to the all-defensive team.
Idlet, who shares his award with Diego Peno from Marshall, is the second Tulsa player to earn that honor in the school’s five-year membership in the conference. The 6-foot-10-inch sophomore averaged 6.7 points and 5.6 rebounds per game in 20.9 minutes.
Jordan broke the school record for blocked shots in a career earlier this season and ended the season with 328 career blocks. He averaged 15.1 points, 8.7 rebounds and 2.5 blocks per game.
