Tommy Mason-Griffin Named to Big 12 All-Rookie Team

IRVING, Texas -- Oklahoma guard Tommy Mason-Griffin has been named to the Big 12 All-Rookie team.

Mason-Griffin averaged 13.9 points per game in 30 games for the Sooners and led OU in 3-point shooting, hitting 39.4 percent from behind the arc.

The freshman from Houston, Texas ranked in the top five in the conference in assists with 4.83 assists per game.

The first-year guard was also named All-Big 12 third team, teammate Willie Warren was named All-Big 12 Honorable Mention. The Big 12 Awards are voted on and announced by the conference's coaches.
