OSU's Andrea Riley Named Big 12 Player of the Week

IRVING, Texas -- Oklahoma State's Andrea Riley was named the Big 12 Women's Basketball Player of the Week by a media voting panel for season-opening games this past week it was announced Monday by the league office.

Riley averaged 25.5 points, 6.0 rebounds 5.5 assists and 2.0 steals in OSU's two preseason WNIT wins.

The senior scored 27 points in the Cowgirls opener against UALR. Riley followed on Sunday against No. 19 Georgia Tech with 24 points, six rebounds, seven assists and two steals.

The recognition marked the eighth time Riley has received a Big 12 weekly award.
