OKLAHOMA CITY -- Three leaders in the arts community launched a statewide group called "Oklahomans for the Arts."
Board member and Tulsa art advocate, Linda Fraizer says it's mission is to formally advocate for arts, culture, and arts education funding.
"We believe that the arts are just critical for our state's economy, for our state's quality of life for, you know, vibrant cities," Linda Frazier said.
This is the first non-profit group of its kind in Oklahoma.
The group also includes Oklahoma City businessman Jim Tolbert and Oklahoma City public relations executive Kym Koch Thompson.
