Tulsa's Sister City Honors City Councilor

TULSA, Oklahoma -- A Tulsa city councilor got a thank you from overseas Tuesday.

Tulsa's sister city in Taiwan presented an official gift from its mayor to Councilor Jack Henderson. Henderson say he hopes the two cities can continue to learn from each other long into the future.

"We try to answer questions they have about our government and how our government works and some of the stuff that we do. It's a good feeling and a good relationship," he said. 

This year marks the 30th anniversary of the partnership. Tulsa has 7 other sister cities in Mexico, France, Germany, Russia, Israel, China, and Japan.
