The Pink Heals campaign is getting police departments, fire departments, sheriff's departments and ambulance companies, as well as government officials and business owners to turn their vehicles pink, or wear something pink on October 25 – 27th each year.
The purpose is to recognize women who are currently fighting cancer or who have lost their battles with cancer, including officer Jennifer Mansell who died of cancer in January.

In addition to its association with women and girls, it's come to symbolize the fight against breast cancer.
Judi Grove of Breast Impressions is grateful that the police department really cares.
"The women of Tulsa are indebted to our wonderful city protectors and their leadership for recognizing and showing support to female cancer victims. Everyone knows someone who has had cancer, and survivors are moved to tears when they feel the entire city truly cares," said Judi Grove.
On average approximately 100 women lose their breast cancer battle each year in Tulsa County.
The patrol car's wrap was donated by the Fellers Company and Visual FX of Tulsa.
