Miami Man Charged With Possession Of Child Pornography

MIAMI, Oklahoma -- A 63-year-old Miami man is in the Ottawa County jail charged with one count of possession of child pornography.

James Weaver was charged Wednesday in Ottawa County District Court after agents with the Southwest Missouri Cyber Crimes Task Force traced downloaded child porn videos to a computer account held by Weaver.

The DA's office notified the Miami Police Department of an IP (Internet Protocol) address that was downloading and engaging in file sharing of known child pornography files.

Weaver was booked into jail on Wednesday.
