Former Grove Teacher Accused Of Embezzlement

A former high school English teacher and cheerleading adviser in the Grove Public School district has been accused of embezzling money from the district's cheerleading fund.

JAY, Oklahoma -- A former high school English teacher and cheerleading adviser in the Grove Public School district has been accused of embezzling money from the district's cheerleading fund.

An arrest warrant was issued on Monday for 53-year-old Michell Diane Martin.  She is accused of taking $8,270 from the fund.

Martin worked for the Grove School district in 2001 and again from 2005 until she resigned on October 26th, 2010.

She was arrested and charged on October 30th, 2010 for DUI.  Martin is currently free on bond on that charge.
