TULSA, OKLAHOMA -- Teachers at Tulsa Public Schools will be able to get some relief this fall now that substitutes are back on the payroll.
Since February, a tight budget meant no money for subs.

When teachers were absent, schools relied on volunteers or other teachers to cover classes.
But the new school year brings new cash and substitutes will no longer have to teach for free.
