TULSA, OK -- Tulsa County has for the first time made property records available to the general public through the Internet. The records were available earlier only by visiting either the Assessor's office or a library branch.
The records are searchable by name or address and generally include a photograph of each home and a sketch of the dimensions, a record of taxes paid, the mortgage holder and assessed value.
Tulsa County Assessor Ken Yazel said he's been working two years to get the records online.
