SAND SPRINGS, OK -- An eastbound semi on U.S. Highway 412 near Sand Springs early Friday morning ran into a guardrail, causing the truck's trailer to rip open spewing hundreds of boxes of steaks across the highway and down a nearby embankment.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says the driver was unhurt in the accident.

Remediation crews were called in to help clean up the mess which blocked the eastbound lanes of the expressway near 129th West Avenue

The OHP still investigating what caused the driver to hit the guardrail.
