Aviator Ball Kicks Off Tulsa Air Show

TULSA, OK -- Apollo 11 Astronaut Buzz Aldrin was one of the special guests at the Aviator Ball that kicked off the Tulsa Air Show Friday night.

The Aviator Ball is an annual fundraiser for the Tulsa Air and Space Museum & Planetarium. Supporters of Aviator Ball have helped provide funding for educational programming throughout the year, including youth field trips, summer camps, scouting, art competitions and more.

Gubernatorial candidate Mary Fallin, Cosmonaut Richard Garrotte and many members of the U.S. Air Force and Air National Guard were also present.
