OKLAHOMA CITY -- Oklahoma's struggling economy is forcing furlough days on Corporation Commission employees.
They're scheduled to take eight unpaid days before July 1 to help make up a budget shortfall.
Employees will take unpaid furlough days on February 12, March 19, April 9, April 30, May 14, May 28, June 1 and June 25. All Commission offices will be closed on those days.
In a news release, OCC Director of Administration Brooks Mitchell stressed the plan is subject to change, depending on changes in the agency's funding.
