Final Home Opener At Drillers Stadium

TULSA, OK -- Thursday night was the final home opener for the Tulsa Drillers at Drillers Stadium at 15^th and Yale.

The ballpark on the fairgrounds has been home to Tulsa's AA baseball team for 26 years.  Next year, the team moves downtown to ONEOK Field, which is under construction.

"As I see that hole in the ground getting bigger and more going on at the ballpark and as I see interest in downtown, calls from developers I am so excited," said Tulsa Mayor Kathy Taylor.

ONEOK Field is set to open next April.
