OKLAHOMA CITY -- Some Oklahoma lawmakers say students should be required to honor the U.S. flag.
A bill forcing the Pledge of Allegiance to be recited in classrooms every day passed committee and is headed to the full House.
Rep. Lewis Moore, R-Arcadia, wrote the bill. He says it's appropriate to "show respect for our symbol of sacrifice and freedom."
