LAWRENCE, KS -- Courtney Paris had 15 rebounds and nine points, failing to score in double figures for only the second time in her career, and Amanda Thompson helped pick up the slack with 16 points in No. 2 Oklahoma's 69-54 victory against Kansas on Saturday night.
Paris, a 6-foot-4 senior, tied her career low in scoring and played 26 minutes. The Big 12's leading career score was 3-for-7 from the field for the Sooners (22-2l, 10-0).
The Sooners kept giving up good looks to Kansas, but the hapless Jayhawks hit only four of their first 28 shots, missing time after time from nearly point-blank range before warming up in the second half. Danielle McCray had 23 points for Kansas (13-10, 2-8).
