TULSA, OK -- Despite having a nine-point lead with less than two minutes remaining, the ORU women's basketball team fell 57-62 against IUPUI on Saturday.
ORU led for much of the contest and by as many as 11 in the second half. Down 55-46 with 1:59 left, the Jaguars went on an 11-0 run capped with five free throws to close the game.
The Golden Eagles (11-13, 4-9 Summit League) committed 21 turnovers.
Janae Voelker led the team with 13 points before fouling out. Mariana Camargo and Cristal Turner chipped in 11 points, while Georgia Jones scored 10. Monah Pegorari added a team-high 11 rebounds.
ORU will face Western Illinois at home at 7:05 p.m. Monday.
