Gundy Names Butler To OSU Football Staff

STILLWATER, OK -- Oklahoma State football coach Mike Gundy has filled another opening on his staff, hiring Mack Butler as the Cowboys' director of football operations.

Butler will return to Oklahoma State from Louisiana State. He had worked at LSU as an assistant athletic director for football administration since 2005, when he joined the staff of former Oklahoma State coach Les Miles.

Butler had been Oklahoma State's director of football operations from 2001 to 2004 under Miles. He also spent time at Tulsa as an assistant.

This time at Oklahoma State, he will replace Jimmy Gonzales, who had been on Gundy's staff since 2005.

Gundy still has one vacancy on his staff, that of defensive coordinator.
