TULSA, OK -- Tulsa's mayor had an unexpected meeting with the President-elect Barack Obama in Chicago, Illinois on Thursday.
Kathy Taylor and 13 other mayors were in discussions in Chicago on Thursday concerning Obama's planned economic stimulus package.
Taylor says they were meeting with an Obama advisor when Barak Obama arrived unexpectedly and began talking with the mayors.
Taylor is on a committee with the U.S. Conference of Mayors, who are gathering lists from cities across the U.S, to submit for funding in Obama's economic stimulus package.
Earlier this month, city of Tulsa officials released a list of some $54 million in projects to be considered.
