UNDATED -- A heroic Marine from Pryor has been named one of the Top 10 Most Inspiring People of the Year.
Master Sergeant Bill Gibson lost his leg in combat in Iraq. But the amputee refused to think of himself as disabled, and returned to battle with a prosthesis.
Beliefnet.com selected Gibson's inspiring story, and now he's competing against philanthropist Paul Newman, Olympic swimmer Dara Torres and cancer survivor Christina Applegate for the site's top honor.
