Former Police Officer Pleads Guilty

MUSKOGEE, OK -- A former Muskogee Police officer has plead guilty in federal court in Muskogee to possession of stolen firearms and stolen valor.

Officials say 30-year old Kris Ledford of Broken Arrow entered the plea during a court hearing Wednesday.

Federal officials say Ledford was involved in the taking of nine guns from the Muskogee Police Department property room.

Ledford could be sentenced up to 20 years in prison and a fine of up to $250,000.
