One OU fan will be at the game while his wife is at the hospital expecting their first child.

DALLAS - While thousands of Sooner fans head south to Dallas, one Oklahoma wife is staying behind in the hospital, while her husband heads to the game.

Elton Rogers of Lawton has been waiting nine long months for his first child.

His wife went into contraction earlier this week and is expected to have their child this weekend. Unfortunately, the couple already bought their tickets to the OU-Texas game.

"I had to go to the game. She said I could 3-4 months ago," Rogers said.

Although Rogers may seem like a bad husband to miss the birth of his first child, the couple made a lengthy deal so he could head to the game.
