A light turnout is expected Tuesday as voters across the state go to the polls to decide runoff races. There are no statewide races on the ballot but there are two runoffs for the state Senate and three runoffs in state House districts.

In Oklahoma City's Republican Senate primary, Steve Russell, a retired Army colonel whose unit was involved in the hunt and capture of Saddam Hussein, faces businessman Kyle Loveless for the District 45 post.

In Tulsa's GOP state Senate primary, attorney Cason Carter faces Gary Stanislawski, a financial planner, for the District 35 position.

Polls are open until 7 p.m.
