Two dogs at the center of a bestiality case are on their way to a new home in Utah. The Tulsa County Sheriff's Office seized the dogs June 23rd and contacted Utah's Best Friends Animal Society.

The dogs will be rehabilitated and eventually put up for adoption.

They were taken from 54-year-old Diane Whalen, after evidence found the dogs had been sexually abused. Whalen and her boyfriend, Donald Seigfried, are both charged in Tulsa County with "crimes against nature."

"It's giving the dogs the most that they can be given in the training and rehabilitation. They have resources. They have trainers and space. So, they'll do the best job that they can for the dogs," said Ruth Steinberger with Oklahoma Alliance Animals.

A preliminary hearing for Seigfried is scheduled for Tuesday.
