Rascal Flatts Proves To Be A Band Of Helpful Guys

Rascal Flatts guitarist and Picher native, Joe Don Rooney is helping out with the recovery effort in his home town.  He's working as a Red Cross volunteer.

But, this isn't the first time the band has extended a helping hand.  In fact, Rascal Flatts will receive The Home Depot Humanitarian Award at this year's Academy of Country Music Awards.

The awards program will be broadcast on KOTV.  The show gets started Sunday evening at 7 o'clock.
