The person responsible for Tulsa's first homicide of 2008 is arrested. Federal marshals in Kansas, working on information from authorities in Oklahoma, located the suspect, 20-year-old Travis Wilson, in Hutchinson, Kansas.
Marshals set up surveillance on a house where there had been reports of Wilson staying. Just before 5 o'clock Thursday afternoon, they noticed activity inside that house. When they went inside, they found Travis Wilson sleeping on the floor.
Wilson is suspected in the January 31st murder of 29-year-old Antonio Nears. Nears was shot numerous times while he was sleeping inside a home in the 4000 block of East 22nd Place.
