FOXBOROUGH, Mass. (AP) _ The New England Patriots have re-signed former Oklahoma State tight end Marcellus Rivers and released linebacker Chad Brown.

The 28-year-old Rivers has been signed and released three times by the Patriots since August.

He's played in 75 games with 13 starts during five NFL seasons with the New York Giants and Houston Texans.
