TORONTO (AP) -- Justine Heninput an end to the surprising run of Yan Zi at the Rogers Cup defeating the Chinese qualifier 6-3, 6-love in the semifinals.

The 22-year-old Yan is ranked 169th and was the first qualifier to reach the tournament's semifinals in 11 years.

Henin will play the winner of the semifinal between Jelena Jankovic and Tatiana Golovin.
